Chase Travel to Launch The Edit: A New Era for Luxury Hotel Booking
Chase Travel is set to revolutionize the way Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers book luxury hotels with the upcoming launch of The Edit. The new platform, unveiled at the International Luxury Travel Market conference in Cannes, France, will offer an editorial component to provide travelers with a more curated and personalized experience.
Rena Shah, head of lodging at Chase Travel, stated, “The Edit is designed to make it easier for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers to plan, book and visit the most sought-after, hand-selected and highly vetted hotel properties across the globe. We’re doing more than just listing hotel names on our site, we’re storytelling and building new ways for our travelers to discover properties with premium benefits that will provide them with an elevated experience.”
Similar to American Express’ Fine Hotels + Resorts, The Edit will offer elite-like benefits at participating hotels, including breakfast for two, property credits, and space-available room upgrades. Additionally, the platform will categorize properties under various themes, such as family-friendly resorts, spa or wellness retreats, and properties perfect for art lovers, design aficionados, or those seeking an elevated culinary experience.
Chase also provided insights into emerging travel trends, showcasing the most-booked hotels for the upcoming New Year’s Eve holiday and trending properties for the following year. The data revealed a significant increase in luxury hotel bookings, as well as a surge in business-class and first-class ticket bookings, indicating a strong demand for premium travel experiences.
With The Edit set to launch early next year, Chase Travel is poised to solidify its position as the top choice for luxury travelers, offering a seamless and immersive booking experience that aligns with the evolving needs and preferences of today’s travelers.
