Khloe Kardashian Changes Son’s Last Name to Thompson
– Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have officially changed their son’s last name from Kardashian to Thompson.
– The name change was granted by a Los Angeles county judge and made official earlier this week.
Khloe Kardashian, the 39-year-old TV star, and Tristan Thompson have decided to change their son’s last name from Kardashian to Thompson. The couple welcomed their son Tatum via surrogate in July 2022. Initially, Khloe had given her son the last name Kardashian, but she made the decision to change it some time ago. The name change was recently made official when a Los Angeles county judge granted the request. According to an insider, if a baby is born without a chosen name, the state will make a birth certificate with the mother’s last name if the couple is not married. Therefore, Khloe and Tristan’s son’s name has been legally changed to Tatum Thompson.
Khloe previously shared that it took her some time to develop a bond with Tatum. In an episode of ‘The Kardashians’, she admitted that it “takes time” to establish that connection. With her daughter True, it only took a few days for Khloe to feel that strong bond, but with Tatum, it has taken months. She loves him and loves kids in general but still feels that the complete bond is not yet there. However, in July, Khloe expressed her pride and love for her baby boy in a gushing birthday tribute posted on social media.
