Join the Oneonta Community Concert Band for an enchanting outdoor concert experience at Wilber Park. Led by conductor Andrew D. Pease, the band will present a program titled “Dreamscapes,” featuring a diverse range of musical selections. Audience members can expect to hear captivating pieces such as “In Dreams” by Cait Nishimura, “Ember Skies” by Kevin Day, “American Riversongs” by Pierre La Plante, “Dusk” by Steven Bryant, and music from George Gershwin’s iconic opera “Porgy and Bess.” Additionally, the concert will include performances of “Toccata for Band” by Frank Erickson, “Prelude, Siciliano and Rondo” by Malcolm Arnold, and John Philip Sousa’s exhilarating march “The Invincible Eagle.” The Oneonta Community Concert Band is composed of approximately 30 talented musicians, including professionals, amateurs, and advanced-student musicians. The concert will take place at the large pavilion in Wilber Park and is free and open to the public.
