and getting on the end of services. We are really proud of the way the ladies played. There was only eagerness to advance to the Elite Eight in their hearts. There was no foot off the gas, or worry about the opponent or concern with the environment. It was like ‘yep there’s a million Red Raiders here right now and we are playing against a storied team, let’s go.’ That’s all you can ask for as a coach. We got all we could give. Some of the plays didn’t go our way but that’s soccer and sports in general.”

“It’d be easy to say, the 2023 team will be remembered for their historic season, capturing the program’s first Big 12 title and making it to the NCAA Tournament Third Round for the first time in program history. But what I will remember most is the heart and determination of this team. They fought hard, played with passion, and represented Texas Tech with pride. The leadership of players like Madison White and Hannah Anderson was truly remarkable, and they will leave a lasting legacy on this program. I am incredibly proud of what this team accomplished and the way they carried themselves throughout the season. They have set a new standard for Texas Tech Women’s Soccer, and I have no doubt that the future of this program is bright.”
