Seattle Native Catherine Andrews Commits to UCLA for Swimming and Academics
Point 1: Catherine Andrews, a Seattle native and Junior National qualifier, has verbally committed to swimming for UCLA in the fall of 2024. She expressed her excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to continue swimming and studying at UCLA, thanking her support system for their help throughout the process.
Point 2: Andrews, who trains with the Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club, has achieved impressive results in her swimming career. She recently placed 14th in the 100m back at Junior Nationals and performed well at the Mel Zajac Junior International meet. Her best times include 53.76 in the 100 back and 1:57.04 in the 200 back. Andrews’ achievements make her a valuable addition to the UCLA swimming team.
